You've had a fantastic career so far, but circumstances have changed and you would like to try a new direction. Perhaps you want more time for yourself, more money or you simply want to follow your passion. The thought of leaving everything you know behind may be exciting and daunting at the same time. But one thing is certain - it is possible to successfully cross the bridge and make your new career as successful, if not more so, than the last one.

It will also be a good idea to read up on the finance industry so you know what you are getting yourself into 4 years from now once you graduate from college.

It's because of my career, not in spite of it, that I was able to create and maintain positive, healthy relationships at home. I felt fulfilled and happy in my finance career, which enabled me to support the ambition of my other half and gave me the energy to be a good parent.

Most schools will hire someone who already has had experiences with teaching. You can try volunteering to local schools first. This will be a very helpful record to write into your resume. People who had here teaching experiences are more likely to get the job.

I'm not passing any judgement on this, I'm just throwing this out for you to consider. It's a major thing to think about and in 50 years when you look back at your career, will you say, I helped make the world a better place, or I just made a lot of money for myself and didn't worry too much about where it came from?

It was at home that I learned to be really clear as a "team leader." I needed to choose the right words to motivate the childcare provider, the kids, my husband, etc.

In short, it takes more than just hard work to achieve a successful chef career. You need the right ingredients, pretty much like the right ingredients in cooking in order to get the positive results. Even though chef is a tough career, don't treat that as a stumbling block not to achieve your dream as a successful chef. With the right attitude and a little bit of hard work, you can become a good chef.
